How to Insert Table in Microsoft word 2010

Microsoft word allow us to insert different types of data such as Photo, Table, Cover Page, Blank Page,  Header & Footer, Page break, Clip Art, Shapes, Smart Art, Chart, Screenshot, Hyperlink, Bookmark, Cross-reference, Page Number, Text Box, Quick Parts, Word Art, Signature Line, Date & Time, Object, Equation, and Symbol. But today I will show how to insert Table in Microsoft word documents.



  1. Open a word document from a Start Menu or from Shortcut, where you can see a Blank page.




Click on the “Insert” Button at the top Menu Bar.





Click on the “Table” below the “Insert Tab”





 In Table there is three options which is Insert table (1.1), insert table (1.2)…., Draw table (1.3), Excel Spreadsheet (1.4), and Quick Table (1.5).




Insert table (1.1), insert table allow us to draw table easily by Mouse moving over the column and row



Insert table (1.2)…., Insert tab allow us to draw table by writhing number of Column and Row



Draw Table (1.3) Draw table allow us to draw the border of table by pencil or pen tools




Excel Spreadsheet (1.4) Excel spreadsheet allow quickly draw table in form of Excel spreadsheet





 Quick Table (1.5)   Quick table offered well created table such is calendar 1.2.3.4, Double table, Matrix, tabular list etc.
